DANIEL E. SOSNOWSKI

 Dan is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American Polygraph Association.  He is currently actively involved in research for monitoring sexual offenders using polygraph including recent research conducted in Great Britain.  He also worked as a subject matter expert to Johns Hopkins University in the development of "The Mike Simman Interview Training CD."    He has recently been named as the Director of a nationally-recognized polygraph school in Florida.   Dan has testified as an expert witness in interview & interrogation as well as use of polygraph.  Dan is currently involved in major research on Interviewing Sexual Deviants and the Post Conviction Supervision of Sexual Offenders.  He is working with Dr. Gene Abell of Atlanta on the identification of sexual predators.  He has been involved in research in Great Britain, Russia, and the Republic of Kazakhstan.  He has been named an honorary Fellow by the University of Leicester in England.

Dan is currently owner of SOS Services, Inc., a private polygraph, research and investigative company located in Marietta, Georgia.   SOS Services, Inc., is currently performing a wide range of investigations in the Southeast for a number of clients in the private sector. Dan is a Senior Instructor with Stan B. Walters & Associates, Inc. and is actively researching and teaching Practical Kinesic Interview & Interrogation� courses. Many of the cases currently assigned to Dan are successfully resolved by using the interview and interrogation methods he now teaches. Dan conducts numerous training seminars in Practical Kinesic Interview & Interrogation� across the United States and is an invited speaker at the American Polygraph Association’s annual seminar.  As a member of the American Polygraph Association, he was the 1998 winner of the Clinchard Award for service to the A.P.A.  In 2002 Dan won the prestigious Leonarde Keller Award.

Dan’s diverse background in both the private and law enforcement sectors along with presently conducting criminal interviews and interrogations, gives him a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. His sense of humor and presentation style makes it a pleasure for the student to listen and participate in training programs. Dan easily adapts to the circumstances and surroundings of his audience which is one of the foremost assets of any successful interrogator.

Dan has been employed as a Regional Loss Prevention Director for a large automotive parts store chain and has conducted numerous internal investigations regarding employee theft. He was a former police officer in the Chicago area.  Dan is a 1980 graduate of John E. Reid College of Detection and Deception and is one of the few polygraph examiners in the country to hold a Masters of Science degree in the field of polygraph.
